Short film course in Garðabær

Last week RIFF held a short film course for children in elementary schools in Garðabær, a town near Reykjavík. 70 kids participated that were chosen from a large group of applicants. Film maker Börkur Gunnarsson supervised the course with the assistance of Sandra Guðrún Guðmundsdóttir. Both studied film making in the renowned film school FAMU in Prague.

The kids were very interested in the subject and we are sure that the film makers of the future were among them. The kids wrote short film scripts in groups, filmed and starred in their own films. The kids are now editing their films and we are very excited to see the final outcome.
